Simple Things: Sleeping Beauty

I love to watch this wild flower I picked from the garden in its daily routine. I watch its slow but steady awakening at dawn finally to reach full out-stretched perfection around 10 am each day only to begin the process again as afternoon draws in. Come evening I watch it’s silken petals retract and close for the night…c’est beau.
