Yes, this is a blatant pillaging of the hugely successful Maryam Nassir Zadeh’s “Roberta Shoe” which after an initial reaction of “good Lord what is it”, I am now somewhat in love with this shoe! There is something about it’s ugly-beauty which appeals to me. I used to own a pair of shoes exactly like this is the early 90’s. Clearly, I was way ahead of the game as they were not a big hit…in the dating scene that is. Now, as a woman of a certain age the world I am keen to try again. Rest assured, I shall report back on the reception they receive. x
